M & M Kart Racing (WII)

One of the mightiest Reviews of all time!!!

“Approaching fun barrier!”

When videos of M&M’s Kart Racing first hit the net, everyone knew it would be a colossal success. You’ll all be happy to know, MMKR does not disappoint. In a market with such extreme competitors as Mario Kart, Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto, and Michael Schumacher Racing World Kart 2002, it’s hard to envision another kart game that can keep up, but without a doubt MMKR matches and in many cases even surpasses all the rest.

Netflix Set Top Box

Netflix has had digital distribution for a while now. The problem is that it isn’t very good. Currently you have to hook you PC up to your TV and stream them. The quality of the streams are actually quite good. The problem really lies in the method of connecting and the poor selection of titles.

The selection of movies to stream is seriously horrible. They are movies that you probably wouldn’t buy out of the bargain bin at Walmart. As the service grows I see this becoming less and less of a problem. More users of the service shows Netfilx that users care about it.

How do you get more users? Simple. Make a relatively cheap and easier way to accomplish the same task. Enter the set top box. For a mere 99$ you will be able to enter the age of digital distubution of lackluster titles until the services improves.

Even though it’s cheap is it still worth it given there aren’t many movies to watch? I’d say that it depends. If you have cable service with on demand I wouldn’t be able to justify it. If you a DirecTV person it may b e up you alley. Fact is Netflix know that digital distrubution is going to be the future and if they don’t get something out early in the game they may never be able to enter the market.

Because Segways Didn’t Make You Yook Retarded Enough

It’s a bird! It’s a plane. No, it’s just your everyday gyroscopic motor cycle.

Operation of the 54.4 kg (120 lb) machine is simple, in fact it’s so simple there are no controls except for an on-off switch. To go forward you simply push your body weight forward to tilt the machine. To back up, just lean back on the seat to tilt it backwards and back it goes. The farther you lean, the faster it accelerates. The gyro tells the ECU how much to accelerate and that in turn delivers the proper amount of current to the electric motors, one for each wheel.

The Best Way To Get A Woman To Say No!

I can see wanting to try something different. After all, life is kind of boring if we all imitate the norm. However, proposing to your woman and then showing her these rings seems more likely to result in a bitch slap than the response one would desire.

Tired of Tripping over Floor Lamps?

A new light emitting wallpaper could be your answer.  I think this idea is just utterly brilliant.  I live in an apartment so i used to rooms with no ceiling lights.  I don’t know how many actually houses have the same problem, but even if they don’t this seems like it would be great in a movie room.

Currently, the technology behind the invention has yet to be divulged, but all those tidbits should get clarified when it goes on display at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan.

One Wing to Rule Them All

Blended Wing body sounds kinda boring. I think they should call it the boomerang plane. Eh I guess it’s just a prototype so I’ll let the lackluster name persist.

The X-48 prototype plane is a radio controlled and a whopping 8.5 percent to scale. Still that’s no small feat considering it has a 21 foot wingspan and just made its first test flight clocking in at 31 minutes and reaching 7,500 feet.

The BWB planes don’t have a tail, the wing itself blends into the fuselage, giving more lift and less drag than a traditional circular fuselage. This means 30% less fuel consumption than a normal plane and also less noise, both inside and on the ground.

People hate Vista because of Nvidia

Vista-capable lawsuit paints picture of buggy NVIDIA drivers

According to Microsoft’s own included documentation, the widespread reports of NVIDIA Vista driver issues were by no means exaggerated during Vista’s first months.

chart

I knew that Nvidia had crappy Vista drivers but I didn’t realize that they were responsible for almost 29 percent of Vista crashes.  I knew there was a reason that in the first few months of Windows Vista I went to Nvidia’s website every other day looking for new drivers. Oh wait there was, but it wasn’t due to crashing It was due to the craptacular game performance that made me have to dual boot for a few months.
